Appletree Dental Care
Appletree is a long-established, friendly professional dental practice in Glasgow. It has a great reputation for cosmetic dentistry, particularly dental implants but also provides more routine dentistry both privately and on the NHS. New patients - even those who have not visited a dentist for many years - are made very welcome and are usually offered a free initial consultation to discuss their pressing dental needs.

Dr Murphy is principal dentist at Appletree Dental Care. He haslong had a special interest in cosmetic dentistry including clear braces, metal free crowns and bridgework and porcelain veneers, having completed several hundred smile makeovers in the last few years. Dr Murphy's main concern is giving patients a smile they are happy with whilst maintaining the focus on dental health.

He has a particular interest in helping nervous dental patients and also takes great pride in his work in the field of cosmetic dentistry. Shei qualified from University of Glasgow in 1990 and undertook 3 further years of training in oral surgery.

The NHS in Scotland is committed to helping every dental patient maintain a healthy and stable mouth.
Dr Robert Kirke, a dentist at Appletree Dental Care in Glasgow, describes the range of dental treatments available on the NHS and how they help you maintain healthy teeth and gums.
If you have any dental decay, we provide small fillings.
These may be metal amalgam for your back teeth but you can get white composite fillings for your front teeth.
These white fillings blend in better with your other teeth.
Patients search for a cosmetic dentist for many reasons.
They may suffer a dental injury or age-related wear and tear.
Maybe they just don't like their misaligned smile or dark stained teeth.
Regardless of what you want to change we are here to help with frank and friendly advice and a lot of cosmetic dentistry skills and experience.
Whether you are looking for a smile makeover or some kind of cosmetic restoration the place to start is at your initial consultation with our cosmetic dentist.
This is always free of charge for new patients and this is how it works.
Dental implants involve an artificial tooth root which is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or dental bridge.
This makes it a really good long-lasting alternative to dentures and the perfect solution for missing teeth.
An implant may not be the same as having your own tooth but it's the next best thing.
In this video Glasgow dentist Dr Brendan Murphy explains what is involved when you get a dental implant at his practice in Glasgow.
He also talks about implant aftercare and explains what you can and cannot eat after a tooth implant.
We are passionate about giving you the best dental care possible whether you are an NHS patient or choose private treatment.
Here are some of the choices available to you in our Glasgow practice.
Highly engineered, wafer-thin laminates of porcelain which cover the front of your teeth to restore their original look.
Metal-free ceramic or porcelain crowns cover your damaged teeth to restore their original shape and improve their appearance.
Often preferred to the traditional dental plate, a bridge is a reliable, long-term solution to a missing tooth.
