She is especially interested in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. Angela enjoys spending time with her with her 2 children and walking her 2 dogs which keeps her very busy. Jemma qualified at Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2010 and currently works part time at Liverpool Dental Hospital teaching paediatrics to undergraduate students.

Experienced in many forms of short-term orthodontic treatments (cosmetic braces), Gareth is a fully qualified Invisalign provider and also trained to provide Inman Aligner, Clearsmile braces, C-Fast, Powerprox and many other short-term teeth straightening techniques and systems.
Services
Examination
Report
We endeavour to provide more than just a dental check up for our patients.
We perform a comprehensive examination of the teeth and oral cavity.
During your visit, your dentist will take a look at the health of your entire mouth, including your teeth, gums and jaws.
This includes an oral health screen for gum disease, dental decay and tooth wear.
We also screen every examination for oral cancer.
Having regular check-ups with your dentist can help to determine any changes in your dental health.
During your new patient check-up as with a routine check up, there will be opportunities to ask your dentist any questions about your dental wellbeing, and to discuss any treatments you may be considering.
Hygiene
Report
The hygienist will review where plaque may be trapped, causing inflammation.
Hard tartar is removed and the teeth are polished to give you back that squeaky clean feel you get after your dental visit.
They will also outline a series of effective cleaning techniques which should be used at home in order to maintain a healthy mouth.
Patients with spontaneously bleeding gums, and those who feel that spaces are appearing between their teeth will benefit from this deeper treatment.
Each root surface is effectively cleansed and disinfected by the hygienist to allow gums to reattach to the teeth.
What is Gum Disease
Report
All gum disease is caused by plaque.
Plaque is a sticky yellow film of bacteria which forms on the teeth surfaces and other hard structures including gums and roots everyday.
Many of the bacteria in plaque are harmless but some have been shown to cause gum disease.
If the plaque is not removed daily it will cause bleeding of the gums, soreness, swelling or infection of the gum.
It can affect the bone that supports the teeth and eventually teeth become loose and painful and tooth loss.
Gum disease may also increase your risk of other health complications, including heart disease, diabetes and strokes.
Stain removal with Airflow
Report
Smoking, red wine and food can lead to an accumulation of stains on your teeth over time.
You can now pop in to our practice without even having to be a registered patient here for a 75.00 spring clean.
With Airflow, one treatment can get rid of all the plaque and discoloration that those habits have left behind.
A fresh clean feel and a great smile!
This works through the combined power of three things - air, sodium bicarbonate and a jet of water and will clean off any discolouration that has built up over time and instantly spruces your smile.
Fillings
Report
Your smile is incredibly important to us and for that reason we can offer composite filling materials privately for your back teeth.
We utilise the most advanced materials and techniques.
The new white composite materials are proving to be an excellent alternative to silver amalgams.
A composite filling is a tooth coloured resin used to restore decayed or broken teeth by using enamel and denting bonding techniques.
The white filling restores the part of the tooth that has become damaged or decayed.
